Visual Designer

About the role:As a part of our design team, you will be our go-to Drivemode brand ambassador, responsible for all our company identity work, including our website, print materials, swag, and marketing initiatives. On the product side, you will be working on 2D/3D illustrations, graphics, and brand assets that enhance the visual identity of our Honda/Acura software products. You will be given the freedom to work independently from sketch to ship, while balancing daily collaborative projects with our people and product teams. It will be a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment, so be prepared to dive head-first into a vast array of projects. Want to try your hand at redesigning our website? Great! What You’ll Be Doing

• Work on all company visual design projects such as in-app graphics, web design, and branded merchandise
• Work closely with company leadership and products teams to align on strategic goals in our brand identity
• Design independently on original concepts
• Grow team knowledge of best-in-practice design trends occurring throughout the graphic design field
• Inspire the team with your vision by working on ambitious brand projects that will set a precedent for the rest of the company

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of internal design team or creative agency experience, with a focus on UI design for mobile applications and web
• Great eye for layout, typography, color, and iconography a must
• Ability to maintain high design standards in a lean, fast-paced environment
• A thoughtful web portfolio demonstrating your passion for fun, thoughtful, and simple design. Must show the ability to create mobile graphics, web designs, online marketing communications, and visual branding

Nice to have:

• Working experience with Front End Development
• Motion Graphics, Sound Design, & Video Editing Experience
