  • Develop and refine video podcast formats that align with WSJ’s journalistic standards and audience expectations.

  • Manage multiple projects in various stages of production, meeting tight deadlines.

  • Ensure all WSJ journalistic and legal standards are upheld at all times.

  • Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as news developments may require.

  • Complete additional duties as assigned, including social videos and breaking news assignments.

You have:

  • At least five years of experience producing video content in a daily news environment at a national or global media company.

  • Proven experience in video podcast production, including a strong understanding of both audio and video storytelling techniques.

  • A track record of developing and executing engaging video formats for digital platforms.

  • Strong editorial judgment and a broad knowledge of current events.

  • Experience shooting video with multiple camera systems and setups, in-studio, remote and in the field.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with expertise in Premiere and working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
