Israel MMPLEX Group is a unique group of architects and developers that seed the technology for video engines, streaming and more. The group’s responsibility is to research, invent, set the technological roadmap, and define the algorithms and architecture that go in the product. As a student in the team, you'll play an essential role in supporting our video database. We are looking for a passionate software student, with a deep understanding of the data domain, to help build, align and manage our datasets. The individual chosen for this position will have the opportunity to take part in researching and developing state-of-the-art video compression and video algorithms, including AI techniques, aimed to be deployed in NVIDIA's world-class consumer and data center products. What you’ll be doing:

Gain expertise in video compression.

Use product and software knowledge to build and ensure quality datasets.

Create frameworks for data onboarding and processing.
-
Help develop and optimize the client-tool, API, and CLI.

Work with NVIDIA teams worldwide to support customers.

Present results and propose solutions to business challenges.

Assist with legal reviews.

Lead data tagging and testing effort.
What we need to see:

Outstanding student pursuing an MSc in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a leading university

Grade sheet – mandatory, GPA > 85
-
With at least 1 year left in the degree

Available to work at least 2 days a week from the office.

Highly organized and responsible – ability to efficiently manage tasks, handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.

Excellent programming skills – Python, SQL.

Proficiency in shell scripting (e.g., Bash) for working with remote machines and handling large-scale data operations.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Hands-on experience with working on databases (maintenance and building).
Ways to stand out from the crowd:

Experience with managing large-scale data and maintaining data pipelines.

Courses and knowledge in image processing/computer vision.

Solid understanding of artificial intelligence development frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).

Understanding of REST API design and usage.

Skills in relational databases, migrations, maintenance, client database integration, API development, data validation, and error handling.
