Responsibilities:

• Ensure manufacturing and deliveries as per customer and market priorities and pre-agreed lead times. Operate manufacturing site independently by overseeing all related functions
• Ensure product quality and performance by way of ensuring implementation of defined processes and Managing overall costs and per unit product costs as per pre agreed budgets
• Continuously make improvements in manufacturing efficiencies as measured through the Production KPIs. Improve Quality, HSE, environment, continuous improvement system
• Act as a catalyst to design and develop SPMs, Tools & Fixtures to improve processes and Managing the team by ensuring the objective alignment, motivating, training. Monitor and constantly improve KPI’s like delivery service levels, output per machine and man-hour
• Understand, Plan and run Multi-division operations, under single site, Supervise Scheduling for maximizing productivity
• Supervise and Control inventory and stores and warehouse management. Maintain Fine balance between stock outs and excess inventory as well as Plan capital expenditure ahead, in line with growth in business
• Manage cordial relationship with 400+ workers at site, Interface management with Sales, Finance, HR and Top Management

Qualifications:

• Must have Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Production or Industrial and Master or Management Post Graduate Degree in Operations or Supply Chain
• 25+ years experience in Manufacturing Industry Experience across operations, production, supply-chain
• Head of Department at Plant Level will report to this position for their functional activities
• Leadership Qualities, Functional Knowledge , Business Expertise , Problem solving , Cross cultural sensitivity (local and Global)
• Strong on ERP or SAP systems to improve efficiency, planning and scheduling
• Establish and Control documentation for OEE, ISO/TS, OHSAS, Environment management systems for productivity control, Quality Assurance and control, Occupational Health and Safety management System
• Possess a very high level of communication skills, Fluent English, Preferred regional Language Hindi and Marathi
