Okta’s Vice President of Corporate Sales will be responsible for building and leading our Corporate Business unit in the US. This is a third-line leadership position reporting into the SVP of Commercial Sales, North America. Our ideal candidate is an energetic, dynamic, and proactive team player who can simultaneously partner with executive leadership while working hands-on alongside our front-line team. A proven leader capable of driving growth, leading inclusive teams, and executing strategic sales initiatives to deliver long-term success for Okta and Auth0.

The Vice President of US Corporate Sales will:  

  • Lead a high-performing sales organization, managing Area Vice Presidents, Directors, and Account Executives across Customer and New Business teams to drive growth and exceed revenue goals.
  • Build and develop a top-tier sales team by driving strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring business growth, customer satisfaction, and consistent overachievement of revenue targets.
  • Deliver exceptional productivity that consistently exceeds performance standards and objectives.
  • Drive significant revenue growth for Okta and Auth0 product lines, utilizing a combination of outbound prospecting, new logo acquisition, and cross-selling.
  • Execute value-based solution-selling strategies, nurturing a consultative sales culture and empowering teams to meet customer needs with tailored solutions.
  • Drive Corporate revenue growth through driving a combination of outbound prospecting and AE sourced pipeline, new logo acquisition, skilled at both velocity-based and strategic sales cycles, strategic account planning, cross-selling new products/use cases to existing customers
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, providing career development, coaching, and performance management to foster a high-achieving sales culture
  • Build a strong cross-functional operating rhythm with teams across pipeline management, forecasting, deal review, execution, deployment, and revenue realization
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Renewals, Customer Success, BD, and Marketing) on strategy and execution to drive adoption, increase productivity, and reduce/eliminate customer churn

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 10+ years of proven success in B2B Corporate or Enterprise Sales 
  • 5+ years of building and leading high-performance SaaS B2B sales teams 
  • 3rd line leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in the security/SaaS space
  • Solid technical and commercial skills with an ability to operate independently 
  • Superb communication and presentation skills; successfully able to communicate at the C-level while also cultivating a strong environment for the Corporate sellers
  • Willing to travel ~30%
  • BS/BA degree strongly preferred

*This role requires in-person onboarding and travel to our San Francisco, CA HQ office during the first week of employment 

Below is the annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range for candidates located in California. Your actual OTE, which is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable) and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The OTE range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:

$440,000$660,000 USD
