The role of Value Stream Planner Manager is essential for supervising, coordinating, and controlling the management of customer orders across various departments (OP&L, Purchasing, Production, Technical Office).
This position ensures a comprehensive view of workload, available materials, and the production progress of the company, allowing for synchronization and adaptation of production processes to effectively meet business and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the complete production process of customer orders, from system entry to final packaging, ensuring they are processed as quickly as possible (with team support).
- Communicate work priorities quickly and effectively to various teams (e.g. Technical Office for urgent custom items, production for rescheduling work based on last-minute urgencies).
- Optimize workloads to maximize operational efficiency while meeting customer needs (with team support).
- Ensure the availability and procurement of all necessary materials, proactively managing any shortages (with team support).
- Implement and continuously improve procurement processes to reduce delivery times, increase efficiency, and decrease material costs.
- Communicate lead times and feasibility for customization requests to the Technical Office.
- Coordination, instruction of the VSP team, and verification that all activities are completed accurately and timely
- Supervise the entire purchasing process, including issued purchase orders, delivery follow-ups, loaded DDTs, checked invoices, and completed import and customs clearance.
- Czech native speaker
- In-depth knowledge of products, processes, and production times.
- Ability to solve problems dynamically and proactively, effectively managing material shortages or defects (requiring basic technical knowledge of materials).
- Negotiation skills with suppliers to meet urgent customer requests.
- Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with various teams to ensure a continuous flow of orders.
- Knowledge of ERP process management and control.
- Orientation towards efficiency and continuous improvement of operational processes.
