Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned User Education Specialist to drive the rapid adoption of IFS Solutions among our partners, customer organizations, and end users. Our customers are both external and internal end users within IFS. This role is central to our mission of delivering customer value by empowering stakeholders with timely, relevant, and impactful educational content. The ideal candidate will have a clear vision for superior user education and documentation, enabling users to independently find solutions and reducing reliance on the owning teams. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside Product Marketing and enablement teams, contributing to our innovation and customer success in the enterprise software industry.

This role is within the Platform & Infrastructure team in IFS RnD. Within this team we work with Authentication, ObservabilitySecurity, CI/CD, Cloud Engineering, Databases, Kubernetes and much more things that lay out the foundation of our Platform for applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Development: Generate high-quality technical and user education content derived from development notes, business requirements, and support case analysis.
  • Educational Strategy: Craft and implement educational initiatives that enable rapid adoption of our solutions, ensuring users can quickly access the information they need.
  • Media Selection & Recommendation: Identify and recommend appropriate media and tools available in the market to maximize the impact and reach of educational content.
  • Stakeholder Empowerment: Empower users by providing clear, accessible documentation and educational materials that promote self-sufficiency and reduce dependency on owning teams.
  • Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with stakeholders within IFS to ensure that our technologies are understood and utilized in the right way, to ensure maximized benefit of the end consumers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of enterprise software trends, technologies, and customer pressures, using this insight to refine content and education strategies.

Qualifications

  • Experience: A proven track record in the enterprise software industry, with demonstrable experience in user education or technical content development.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of key enterprise software/IT trends, business drivers, and customer needs, with the ability to translate technical information into accessible content.
  • Content Development Skills: Exceptional ability to create, organize, and present educational content that addresses both technical and user-centric challenges.
  • Strategic Thinking: A structured and strategic approach to content creation and educational program development, with a clear vision of how superior user documentation can drive customer success.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams including Product Marketing and enablement professionals.
  • Tool Proficiency: Awareness and experience with modern educational tools and media platforms that enhance the user education experience.
