POSITION:       UPHOLSTERER

COMPANY PROFILE:

HOLLY HUNT is known for a look that is consistently at the forefront of style and quality. The company designs, produces and showcases custom made furniture products.

POSITION PROFILE:

Performs the components preparation and upholster furniture units from a kit of components previously prepared and tailored for fitting (Fabric and/or leather)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares furniture units and or components,
  • Webbing,
  • Edging
  • Foam
  • Dacron
  • Springs

• Upholster of products:
  • Product completion per Production Schedule
  • Meet all critical dimensions and product characteristics.
  • Maintain work station clean, organized and safe.
  • Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required.
  • Maintain the time sheet accurate and on time.
  • Observe all company policies and standard practices.
  • Participate on all required continuous improvement activities.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications

• Two year experience of upholstery.
• Proficient using equipment and hand tools such:
  • Electrical tools: Drill, screw driver, sander, nail gun.
  • Hand tools.
  • Spray gun.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced team environment while managing multiple projects.
• Strong attention to detail and flawless results.
• Ability to communicate with multiple levels within an organization and be a team member
• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or work experience which demonstrates performance competency
