New Balance are offering a 1 year paid undergraduate placement to an undergraduate student, currently in penultimate year of study, with a desire to follow a career in Marketing. We are looking for a Marketing Intern to join the UK & Ireland team at New Balance to provide support across the brand and wholesale functions. Supporting the planning and delivery of key brand, retail marketing campaigns and flagship event moments across paid advertising, PR, In-Store, Online & experiential. They will work closely with our agencies as well as working across the team on creative production and general marketing requirements. We have a true understanding of our customer and therefore we are looking for someone who can champion that consumer at the heart of everything they do with a deep cultural insight and a passion for the sports and sneaker industry. We are looking for someone with strong organisational skills, a ‘can do’ attitude and exceptional communication skills.
Training and support will be given, and you will gain a broad knowledge of a UK Marketing department.
This placement opportunity will start on Monday 16th June 2025 and will be based in the Head Office (Warrington) full time.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide planning and organisational support to the UK Marketing Team across Brand and Trade Marketing Activity.
- Support the sample ordering process across the UK Marketing Team through long term planning and ongoing coordination of product requirements.
- Ensure sample orders are organised and updated as part of housekeeping process with our demand planning team.
- Support the UK brand and trade marketing teams with top tier campaign planning, delivery and activation across paid media, PR and events.
- Manage the Influencer seeding program inventories across retailers for key campaigns and communicate the order updates with key stakeholders.
- Provide accounts with seasonal assets, copy and channel needs. Work with internal creative team to resize assets where required.
- Support on shoot coordination and asset production. Work closely with team to order product, props and other requirements for photoshoots and attend where required.
- Support with the delivery of in-store and online campaigns including POS.
- Support with the execution and delivery of product training material.
- Research market and consumer trends and competitor activity and report back to business.
- Provide sales support to team in key sell-in periods.
- Support on ad hoc projects as required.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
- Studying a marketing or related degree course looking to undertake your sandwich placement.
- Must be able to provide the right to work in the UK
- Excellent written and spoken English and knowledge of MS Office packages.
- Highly organised and customer focused with a desire to succeed with a thriving brand.
- Self-motivated with an ability to use initiative.
