The UI/UX Design Associate is responsible for transforming complex user needs into intuitive, elegant, and engaging mobile applications and websites. They will combine creative problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of user-focused design principles.
- Design and maintain design systems, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for mobile apps and websites across multiple brands.
- Collaborate closely with creative directors, product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business and user needs into actionable design solutions.
- Conduct usability and performance testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights.
- Provide strategy into design across many unique devices and projects, ranging from mobile applications to websites.
- Ensure all web and app designs are optimized for various platforms and comply with brand guidelines.
- Manage multiple projects from concept through completion, prioritizing tasks and adhering to deadlines effectively.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in user interface design, experience, and marketing to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Ensure all UI/UX projects deliver effective solutions while upholding the highest standards of design execution, creativity, and innovation, in alignment with both our team's vision and our clients' expectations.
- Collaborate with the leadership and creative team to create and expand design systems and processes.
- Assist team through execution and development phases to ensure all design strategies and quality is upheld.
- Prototype both digital and physical experiences and iterating them based on user insight and client feedback
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX, with a focus on web and mobile app design.
- Proficient in tools like Figma, Salesforce Page Designer or similar tools
- Tactical experience working at a Retailer or CPG company
- Strong collaboration skills, able to work with developers, creative, marketing, analytics, and other teams.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to articulate your creative vision and how it aligns with marketing goals.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Preferred tactical experience working at a Retailer or CPG company
- Self-starter with high levels of intellectual curiosity
- Distinctive communication skills and influence mindset across all levels
- Impact oriented problem-solving ability: ability to jump in and lead problem solving across wide range of topics with a “first principles” mindset
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high pace environment
- Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint)
Compensation Range: $59,670.00 - $79,560.00
Claire’s is committed to adhering to all applicable company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations. All positions will be compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location in which work is performed. The final compensation will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
