Treasury Operations Specialist

Team Description

FNZ Markets is FNZ group’s internal Equity brokerage and custody provider. The team consists of 15 staff located in Stockholm, managing the operational flows on a pan-EU basis.

Role Description

The objective of cash management team is to deliver, coordinate and continuously develop an effective cash management, treasury and collateral management function, that provides the tools to enable FNZ Markets to identify, assess, control and monitor cash related risks.

The Treasury operational role works in the 1st line operations team, with the handling of the daily processes. The wider operational function handles clearing & settlements, asset servicing and regulatory reporting.

While FNZ is technology business, the role requires wider financial services industry and Nordic regional experience, ideally within a fast-paced regulated environment with exposure to multiple markets and functions.

The duties and responsibilities of this role will include the following:

General

• Act as subject matter expert within the FNZ Markets EU business line for cash management, FX, Collateral and treasury related topics.

• Responsibility for the daily operational tasks and controls.

• Defining key controls for operational processes to minimize operational risks. Documentation and reviews.

• Ensuring that the business line utilises its credit lines, liquidity and collateral in the most efficient way.

• Intraday and overnight credit and liquidity planning/monitoring.

• KPI and report generation.

• Reconciliation of accounts and balances.

• Alignment with group processes and controls for cash management, FX, collateral and treasury.

• Assistance/coverage with the team’s overall daily operational tasks.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• 5 years + Industry experience from a financial services firm with a focus around cash management, FX services and collateral management.

• Hands-on experience of cash management, FX, collateral management

• Able to work independently and with initiative

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and a desire to work as part of a global team.

• Excellent organisational, administration and time management skills.
