Job Summary:

This senior analyst position within the Treasury Department will be responsible for conducting one or more major cash management activities. Responsibilities include cash management, liquidity projections, treasury operations, bank relationship management, cash accounting, account reconciliations, short-term investing, short-term borrowing and payments. The Treasury Analyst III is also responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant Treasury guidelines and regulations. This position will need to develop strategic relationships with business partners to provide necessary information and data to provide solutions and influence decisions.Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and review of daily cash processes including; daily cash positioning, borrowing and investing as needed, initiating bank transfers and compiling necessary control and audit documentation. 
  • Research, decision and/or update daily positive pay exceptions
  • Analyze complex bank fees, balances and account structure and independently prepare recommendations for cost savings. 
  • Assist in forecasting and monitoring cash needs.
  • Manage and monitor the daily treasury workstation transaction activity. 
  • Prepare cash positioning dash boards, recommend and coordinate cash movements to meet target balances, lead monthly intercompany settlement process and ensure internal and external debt balances are properly captured and reported.
  • Review and resolve cash management transactions, such as cash receipts and disbursements, in a timely manner and in accordance with internal policies and procedures. Review and development departmental processes and procedures, and drive improvements in cash management operations and the greater Treasury organization.
  • Prepare and maintain procedure manuals in accordance with internal and external control requirements. 
  • Lead the verification of all payment transmissions for the organization, lead on resolution support on transmission issues and own the verification process of incoming transmissions from banking partners.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or related field preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree.

  • Requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in Treasury, Accounting or Finance.

  • Requires at least 2 years of experience performing bank or account operations.

Additional Licensing, Certifications, Registrations:

  • CTP credential preferred.

Knowledge:

  • Experience in oversight and implementation of strong banking controls.

  • Strong knowledge of Treasury guidelines and policies including Banking Authority and Investments.

  • Strong knowledge of cash management and banking required.

  • Experience with analysis, modeling and reporting.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Self-starter who can collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders and build relationships.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.

  • Advanced Excel skill level.

  • Experience in Kyriba Workstation a plus.

Salary Range:

$86,000 - $117,390

​This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.  This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting.  Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
