Role Overview:
As a Travel Support Specialist at IBC Private, you will be responsible for handling air and hotel bookings using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to provide accurate quotes and ticketing services for our high-profile clients. You will coordinate luxury travel arrangements, ensuring seamless itineraries and VIP experiences. This role requires strong expertise in travel booking platforms, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to deliver personalized and hassle-free travel solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Familiar with GDS to help quote & ticket Air/Hotel bookings.
- Assist with visa and travel documentation, ensuring clients have the necessary paperwork.
- Prepare and send detailed travel itineraries, confirmations, and invoices to clients.
- Work closely with airlines, hotels, and service providers to ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience.
- Handle urgent and last-minute travel requests, adapting quickly to changes and client preferences.
What We're Looking For:
- Proficiency in GDS platforms.
- Experience in travel coordination and ticketing, particularly for luxury or VIP clients.
- Strong knowledge of fare rules, ticket issuance, reissues, and cancellations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a client-first mindset and high attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under tight deadlines and last-minute requests.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with clients and vendors professionally.
- Tech-savviness and experience with CRM systems, booking tools, and online research.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with evolving client needs and travel requirements.
Additional Details:
- You will be working 5 days a week, including one weekend day, but will have 2 days off in a row.
- Working hours will be 9am - 6pm EST.
