We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Transport Lead to join our team. This role is pivotal in scheduling our SDA fleet from farm gate to production pick-up, managing interbranch movements, and ensuring data accuracy. You will work closely with the broader IBL team to optimize fleet utilization and drive operational excellence.
This is a full-time opportunity with a rotating schedule of 4 days on (2 days and 2 nights) and 4 days off per week.
- Coordinate daily run sheets and driver materials.
- Reconcile data flows and ensure timely data entry.
- Oversee operational administration, including driver briefings and fleet maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with heavy vehicle logistics laws and safety regulations.
- Promote a safety culture and maintain full regulatory compliance.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to support milk procurement and logistics strategies.
Skills and Experience:
- Background in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or related field is desirable.
- Experience in logistics scheduling or driving with an understanding of milk collection processes highly regarded.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of industry regulations around CoR, Fatigue, Mass management, and HACCP.
- Effective problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.
