  • The Training and Qualification Coordinator aims to develop our team members and eliminate skill gaps identified through robust qualification processes and insight. In collaboration with the site Training and Qualification Manager, this role will be responsible for the development and implementation of training strategies, plans and processes to support organizational goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Training and Qualification Coordinator reports to the Training and Qualification Manager and supports a variety of operational functions.
  • The Training and Qualification Coordinator role requires flexibility of schedule as needed.
  • The coordinator role requires outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including outstanding facilitators of learning and change.
  • A coordinator is expected to be an analytical thinker with an organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Duties include partnering with a variety of operations in developing, facilitating, and supervising training programs for employees to help advance their skills and improve their performance; Will also partner with HR as needed.
  • In partnership with Training and Qualification Manager, implementing training and development plans; facilitating a wide variety of training programs that enhance the effectiveness of the workforce.
  • Develop training manuals that target tangible results.
  • Implement effective and purposeful training methods, enforcing training timelines and expectations.
  • Manage packaging metrics via scorecards and data; report out weekly.
  • Participate in Orientation and Onboarding as needed.
  • Participate in (required but not limited to) GEMBA, Food Safety Audit Walks and Hold Reviews.
  • Lead the Packaging Trainer Program, including content, delivery, and trainer development.

LMS management for online learning; including passwords, assignments and proving reports and driving completion.

  What you bring to the party:

    • Must have 3 years minimum in a technical production role; qualified in more than one processing or skilled production role is preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Must be fluid in Excel, Word and have ability to manage LMS programs.
    • Must be able to problem solve, research for data to prove error or improvement, utilize various metric platforms and follow up on findings.
    • Must be self-motivated.
    • Must be able to work flexible hours.
    • Must be able to make action plans against needed or role gaps.
