As a Colorado-certified Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS), you will play a pivotal role to the ALLO team by demonstrating expertise in traffic control operations and creating Traffic Control Plans (TCPs) and Method of Handling Traffic (MHTs). This role involves ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations through the design and permitting phase to the construction and maintenance stage of our projects.
An ALLO branded vehicle will be provided for this role.
Colorado Residents: Typical pay range for this role will be from $50,000 to $80,000 based on experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, review, and implement Traffic Control Plans (TCPs) and Method of Handling Traffic (MHTs) in accordance with Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), and any additional local standards to ALLO communities

Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and engineers to design traffic management solutions that minimize disruptions and maintain public and worker safety

Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices (e.g., cones, barriers, signage) as outlined in approved plans
-
Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with traffic control standards and adherence to MHTs and TCPs
-
Modify TCPs and MHTs as needed based on real-time conditions or project adjustments
-
Train and supervise traffic control flaggers and other personnel as required

Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and the public regarding traffic control activities and procedures

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including CDOT and MUTCD standards

Maintain accurate documentation of traffic control operations, incidents, and changes to TCPs/MHTs

Collaborate with other teams to ensure all projects follow the priority

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
-
Associates Degree (or greater) preferred
-
Current Colorado Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certification required

ATSSA certification preferred
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
-
Proven experience in the creation and implementation of TCPs and MHTs
-
Proficiency in CAD or other software used for the creation of TCPs/MHTs

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong knowledge of CDOT and MUTCD regulations and standards
WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must live within two (2) hours of Boulder, Colorado, and be able to commute to Boulder or other ALLO communities as needed
