Mission Statement:
The TT&L G/C Sourcing Specialist APMEA (Asia Pacific Middle East and Africa) Region is responsible for the transport project budgeting for General Cargo, ensuring availability of the transport budget in line with the requirements for specific Region especially South Asia and Pacific Countries. He/she manages end-to-end sourcing activities for the RFI (Request for Information) and RFQ (Request for Quotation) process, starting from the analysis of transport requirements, ending on the awarding the business for execution. Additionally, he/she is supporting spot quotations for urgent shipments and negotiating potential invoice disputes with suppliers in case of escalations.
Job Responsibilities:

You will execute the regional TT&L strategy for Sourcing project and Supply Base Management.

You will prepare for Overland and Domestic General Cargo Trucking RFQ's by working closely with internal stakeholders, data analysis and external suppliers

You will monitor performance with global KPIs and drive corrective actions where needed.

You will drive strategies, implement targets and standards/processes for the business in order to improve cost and maximize spend value.

You will manage RFI and RFQ process for general cargo from consolidation and verification of demands and requirements, including the end-to-end RFI and RFQ execution with suppliers,

You will do submission of award proposals up to the signature of contract and implementation into SAP Ariba

You will drive implementation of sourcing processes for General Cargo continuously benchmark the performance.

You will drive special projects in the region in accordance with global TT&L Strategy.

You will support on escalations for Sourcing issues to business during execution phase of the transports.

Your background:
-
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics Management, International Economics, Business or equivalent knowledge or experience.
-
High level Knowledge of South Asia and Pacific Logistics market especially Overland and / or Domestic general cargo trucking transportation.
-
More than 5 years of experience with Logistics especially overland and / or Domestic general cargo trucking transportation.
-
More than 2 years’ experience in sourcing of Logistics transport products, overland and / or Domestic general cargo trucking transportation.
-
Experience in air and sea and/or customs sourcing is a plus.
-
Experienced in management of sourcing of general cargo for logistics in a globally.

Knowledge of transport methods, costs, and benefits.
-
Knowledge of transportation rules and regulations.
-
Experience in remote & cross-cultural team management.

Project Management.
-
Advanced desktop computer skills including PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Outlook required.

Experience with sourcing and benchmarking tools.

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Drive to find solutions to complex logistics problems.

Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive tasks in a dynamic environment.

Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency and Strong team player.

Fluent in English, other languages are a plus.
