We currently have a vacancy for an Tester fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Stockholm, Sweden. The work will be carried out remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks:
- Testing planning, monitoring, control, reporting, collecting and reporting on metrics;
- Definition of test cases ensuring a high coverage of requirements and acceptance criteria;
- Definition and creation of test data needed;
- Setting up and maintenance of the test environments;
- Definition of test conditions and execution of test cases;
- Report bugs and errors to development team and support the investigation of identified issues;
- Develop and maintain automated test cases and performance test cases.
- University degree with minimum 3 years of experience in IT OR non university degree with minimum 6 years of experience in IT;
- Minimum 3 years of information systems testing experience;
- Experience of 3 years as Application Tester or a similar role;
- Knowledge of industry standards on testing methodologies, technologies and tools;
- Professional focus in software testing, primarily web-based software;
- Experience documenting defects and producing test documentation in a clear and constant way (e.g. respecting naming conventions);
- Experience in testing planning, monitoring, control, reporting, collecting and reporting on metrics;
- Experience of creating tests (test cases, scenarios, data, etc.) from requirements and design specifications;
- Experience in setting up and maintaining the test environment;
- Experience working with work item management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, TFS or Jira);
- Understanding of Unified Modelling Language (UML);
- Experience in creating and maintaining automation scripts with Microsoft Playright or similar framework;
- Experience with Continuous Integration Principles and pipelines;
- Experience with DevOps practices for test automation;
- Understanding of relevant technology/ies (e.g. .Net, TypeScript, JavaScript);
- Experience in web frontend troubleshooting;
- Certification of ISTQB Foundation Level (or equivalent);
- Understanding of relevant technology/ies (e.g. .Net, C#) is considered an asset;
- Excellent command of the English language.
