What you’ll do at Elekta 

Are you passionate about developing cutting-edge systems that makes a real positive impact in people’s lives? Join our team and play a key role in developing the real-time embedded software that controls multiple axes in our radiation therapy devices to safely deliver radiation to patients.   

As a Verification Engineer, you will be involved in all phases of our verification process - from planning and specification to execution and reporting - ensuring that our products meet the expected standards of quality and performance. Working closely with the design teams, you will ensure that the team is developing a testable design and provide early feedback on product performance, assist in test tool development, and track requirements. Your responsibilities will include writing and executing test cases (preferably automated), performing exploratory and regression testing, and identifying defects with attention to detail. You will also be involved in defining the technical testing strategy as well as creating and reviewing verification documents, test code, and technical product documentation.

What you bring 

You have a proven track record in verification, ideally gained within an engineering or technical environment. You’re passionate about quality assurance and thrive on translating requirements into effective test cases. You keep yourself current with best practices and standards, recognizing the importance of robust testing in creating reliable products. 

  • University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field  

  • Demonstrated experience in Verification, including automated testing 

  • Proficiency in designing, writing, and executing test cases for complex systems 

  • Configuration management skills, with an understanding of requirements tracking 

  • Experience in managing test tools and test environments 

  • Experience from a regulated business environment, preferably a safety critical one 

  • Professional proficiency in English
