Key Responsibilities:
Hardware Testing & Maintenance
- Perform testing on laptops and computers (e.g., Dell) to ensure functionality and performance.
- Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware components such as laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
- Ensure all equipment is compliant with company standards and meets operational requirements.
Hardware Maintenance & Support
- Set up, repair, and maintain computers, servers, and IT equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including data erasure machines.
- Ensure proper performance and reliability of IT systems.
Troubleshooting
- Identify and fix hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide timely support for IT-related problems in the workplace.
Testing & Configuration
- Assist in configuring and testing IT hardware for optimal functionality.
- Conduct performance tests and basic diagnostics for equipment.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, setups, and maintenance activities.
- Prepare basic reports and updates for the team.
IT Support
- Support end-users with IT issues, including software and hardware troubleshooting.
- Provide assistance with Microsoft Office applications and other workplace tools.
Collaboration & User Support
- Work closely with the team to identify and resolve recurring IT issues.
- Provide clear and friendly guidance to users on troubleshooting and IT best practices.
Qualifications:
- Diploma / High vocational Certificate or vocational certificate (engineering degree not required).
- 2-3 years of experience in IT support or hardware maintenance.
- Familiarity with computer hardware, networks, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English both writing and speaking
