ROCKWOOL is currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager, Mid-South, a true professional with high energy and a proven track record of success who will represent the ROCKWOOL™ values of ambition, responsibility, integrity and efficiency.  The candidate will preferably be based in Nashville, TN and will cover a territory that includes TN, KY and AL.  This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and has no direct reports.

ROCKWOOL Group’s main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Maintain existing business and expand ROCKWOOL’s position as a major supplier of stone wool insulation to the entire building insulation sector
  • Develop and nurture robust business relationships with customers and industry professionals including insulation and building material distributors, retail/LBM locations, builders, contractors, and architects
  • Maintain awareness of local competitive conditions in the assigned area
  • Achieve established sales and profit goals while operating within the allocated expense budget

What You Bring

  • 4+ years sales experience w/ strong track record of success in Building Materials/ Construction sales a MUST
  • Understanding of the commercial construction process
  • College degree, preferred
  • High drive, commitment, energy and integrity
  • Strong presentation, training skills and effective time management
  • Professional communication – both written and oral
  • Strong computer skills – MS Office and CRM
  • Local travel with ability to travel overnights up to 50% of the time
