Everbridge is seeking a dynamic Territory Manager to join our growing team. This role will focus on selling Everbridge's core suite of solutions, including Mass Notification, Critical Event Management, and Travel Risk Management, to small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) in the Southeast U.S. The TM will manage a full-cycle, high-volume sales pipeline and be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new logo deals within companies under 2,000 employees.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced hunter/closer with a demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced, full-cycle sales environment. This position is remote but may require occasional travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients and attend key events.

What you'll do:
- Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: Manage all aspects of the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, product demonstrations, and contract negotiation.
- Prospecting & Outreach: Develop and execute strategic prospecting plans to engage decision-makers at target SMB accounts across the Southeast U.S. territory (AL, FL, GA, TN, NC, SC, MS).
- Product Expertise & Presentations: Build domain knowledge of Everbridge’s solutions, competitive landscape, and key buyer personas. Conduct tailored product demos and presentations via web conferencing tools or in person when appropriate.
- Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management using Salesforce and related tools (ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Clari).
- Collaborate & Align: Work closely with Everbridge’s sales engineers, marketing team, and channel partners to drive revenue growth and customer success.
What you'll bring:
- 2+ years of full-cycle sales experience, including cold calling, pipeline management, and closing new logo deals.
- Proven track record of exceeding quota in SMB or mid-market sales (preferably in SaaS, technology, IT services, communications, or security solutions).
- Strong hunting, prospecting, and pipeline development skills, with the ability to identify and engage key decision-makers.
- Experience conducting engaging product demos and presentations via video conferencing (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences (e.g., HR, Security, IT Ops).
- Tech-savvy with experience using CRM tools like Salesforce, along with sales tech such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote sales environment while maintaining high levels of accountability, organization, and motivation.
Bonus if:
- 3+ years of closing experience in SMB or mid-market SaaS, technology, security, or related industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Computer Science, Security, or related fields.
- Experience selling into functional areas such as IT Operations, HR, Corporate Security, Facilities Management, or Business Continuity.
- Knowledge of SaaS, Critical Event Management, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Mass Notification, or Travel Risk Management solutions.
- Salesforce power user skills, including accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from $60,000 - $70,000 and may also include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
