ForeFlight's Strategic Capture Sales team is seeking a Sales Enablement Specialist to support our mission of driving revenue growth through strategic sales campaigns, partnerships, and enablement initiatives. This role is critical in equipping our Business Aviation (BA) and General Aviation (GA) digital sales teams with the tools, processes, training, and resources needed to execute successful sales engagements.
You will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product teams to develop and optimize sales enablement programs that drive effectiveness and efficiency in our go-to-market efforts. Additionally, you will serve as a right-hand resource to the ForeFlight Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), acting as a strategic liaison and operational support lead to help streamline key initiatives, internal communications, and executive priorities.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize sales enablement programs that empower the BA/GA digital sales team to close deals and strategic campaigns efficiently.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify gaps in sales knowledge, messaging, or tools, and create solutions to address them.
- Ensure sales teams have access to and are leveraging CRM, sales automation tools, and analytics dashboards effectively.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sales workflows and reporting.
- Create and maintain playbooks, pitch decks, and competitive intelligence guides tailored to BA/GA sales motions (e.g., SalesForce guidance for new products)
- Partner with marketing to develop customer-facing assets, one-pagers, and case studies aligned with strategic campaigns and sales strategies.
- Design and deliver ongoing training programs for sales teams, including new hire onboarding, internal system training, product training, and best practices for customer engagements.
- Work with subject matter experts to ensure sellers are proficient in ForeFlight and Jeppesen digital product offerings, value propositions, and sales processes.
- Serve as a trusted partner to the ForeFlight CRO, helping to manage strategic initiatives, executive communications, and key priorities across the sales organization.
- Act as a connector between leadership and internal teams, distilling key insights and coordinating execution on high-impact projects.
- Assist with select administrative and executive support tasks, including internal reporting, scheduling, and CRO-driven communications.
- Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, and product teams, ensuring alignment on go-to-market strategies and messaging.
- Gather and analyze feedback from sales teams to refine training programs, messaging, and content development.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years in sales enablement, sales operations, or a related role within SaaS, aviation, or technology company preferred.
- Ability to quickly absorb new concepts, adapt to evolving sales strategies, and proactively seek solutions.
- Capable of distilling complex information into clear, actionable insights for sales teams.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Experience (or strong willingness to develop expertise) in B2B sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with or ability to learn CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales engagement tools, and content management platforms.
- Pilots welcome; an enthusiasm for aviation required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $73,000 - $98,000.

We hire in 26 states across the country with three offices located in Austin, Houston, and Portland, ME. We encourage those employees that live near an office to go in a couple days a week.
