The purpose of this position is to:

Provide end-user support and day-to-day support while taking care of maintenance of terminal’s IT/OT infrastructure and assets where it requires hands-on activities, ensuring optimal delivery of technology services for the business within the agreed service level.

Principal accountabilities:

  • End-user support services to agreed service levels.
  • Providing support and maintenance of local IT/OT infrastructure requiring hands-on intervention, to agreed service levels and in collaboration with the regional IT service delivery team.
  • Local IT / OT assets to stay within warranty and vendor support.
  • Provide end-user support services, including but not limited to Office applications, desktops, laptops, printers and mobile phones.
  • Provide support, conduct maintenance, resolve incidents, and implement change for local IT infrastructure services and assets, requiring hands-on interaction. Including, but not limited to datacenter racks, cabling, network and server equipment.
  • Provide support, conduct maintenance, resolve incident and implement change for local OT infrastructure services and assets, requiring hands-on interaction. Including but not limited to CCTV/OCR equipment, biometric readers, radio equipment and VMTs.
  • Support the regional IT service delivery team when they require hands-on onsite IT/OT support for incident and change management.
  • Install and replace end user and IT/OT infrastructure hardware devices.
  • Resolve incidents within agreed service levels.
  • Provide support to the IoT & Automation team if needed.
  • Participate in regional CAB.
  • Comply with the company’s HSSE regulations, policies, and practices.
  • Execute other tasks assigned from time to time by management or immediate supervisor related to the development or execution of the business of the company.

Reporting and Scope:

  • The position reports to IT Manager.
  • Geographical Scope: Rijeka, Croatia.

Critical Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

Experience:

  • Preferably 3 years of IT or automation experience.
  • Experience in the industry, or international environment is a plus.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of end-user software and devices.
  • Knowledge of local IT and OT infrastructure components.
  • Experienced at working according to industry standard ITSM practices.
  • Communicative – able to translate between technical and user language.
  • Problem solving skills.

Education

  • University degree in Computer Science, or related field (Equivalent education and work experience may be substituted).
