About your team: 

You’ll be working centrally within our mission control room, aka Centrica’s group functions. From Finance and Data Science, to our Wellbeing and People teams - this is the engine of our energy system, where our various Centres of Excellence power up each of our brilliant businesses, ensuring they have all the support, technologies, and capabilities they need to get our customers to Net Zero by 2050.

Join our vibrant DTS Team as a Technology Compliance Analyst! In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the forefront of navigating new and upcoming regulations. You’ll conduct thorough compliance reviews, report on compliance status, consult with other GRC teams and business units, and ensure our policies meet the highest compliance standards. We’re looking for a proactive and skilled individual to help us stay ahead of regulatory changes and maintain our commitment to excellence. The Day to day –

  • Conduct thorough compliance reviews to ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and document compliance gaps, recommend and follow up on corrective actions to completion.
  • Prepare and present detailed compliance status reports to the Governance Team.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and findings.
  • Offer guidance on compliance best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure organisational policies comprehensively cover required compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and interpret new and upcoming regulations that impact the organisation.
  • Advise on necessary adjustments to compliance programs to align with regulatory changes.

About You –

  • Experience with ISO27001, PCI DSS, SWIFT, and NIS2 compliance.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
  • Analytical, communication, and consulting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant industry certification, such as ISO Auditor.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and overcome blockers and issues.
  • Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills at both a technical and non-technical level.
  • Knowledge of internal and/or external regulatory policies, standards, procedures, and controls (e.g., COBIT, CPNI, NIST, ISO27xx, Cyber Essentials, SWIFT).
