About your team:
You’ll be working centrally within our mission control room, aka Centrica’s group functions. From Finance and Data Science, to our Wellbeing and People teams - this is the engine of our energy system, where our various Centres of Excellence power up each of our brilliant businesses, ensuring they have all the support, technologies, and capabilities they need to get our customers to Net Zero by 2050.
Are you a seasoned Technology Compliance SME with a passion for regulatory compliance? If so, we are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled professional to join our DTS business. In this pivotal role, you will conduct comprehensive compliance reviews, report on compliance status with clarity and precision, collaborate with GRC teams and various business units, ensure our policies align with compliance requirements, and stay ahead of new and emerging regulations. The Day to day -
- Conducting thorough compliance reviews for NIS1/2 and other regulations
- Identifying and documenting compliance gaps, recommending corrective actions.
- Preparing and presenting detailed compliance status reports.
- Maintaining accurate records of compliance activities.
- Providing expert consulting to GRC teams and business units.
- Offering guidance on compliance best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring policies cover all necessary compliance requirements, including Smart Metering, PCI, ISO, Swift, and audits.
- Developing and implementing policy addendums as needed.
- Monitoring and interpreting new regulations impacting the organisation.
- Advising on adjustments to compliance programs to align with regulatory changes.
About You -
- Experience with Technology regulations such as NIS1/2 and other UK, EU and other areas such Singapore, US.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
- Analytical, communication, and consulting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and overcome blockers and issues.
- Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills at both a technical and non-technical level
- Knowledge of internal and/or external regulatory policies, standards, procedures, and controls (e.g., NIS2, COBIT, CPNI, NIST, ISO27xx, Cyber Essentials, SWIFT, Smart Metering)
- Ability to drive compliance and facilitate agreements with challenging stakeholders.
