Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our Enterprise Business Systems department. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for various enterprise systems, including Salesforce, MuleSoft, Workday, Remedy, and other critical platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of technical writing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, write, and maintain high-quality documentation for enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Mulesoft, Workday, Remedy, and other related platforms.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, developers, and business analysts to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
  • Create user guides, technical manuals, process documentation, and training materials that are clear, concise, and easy to understand.
  • Develop and document test cases to ensure the functionality and reliability of enterprise systems.
  • Ensure all documentation is consistent with company standards and guidelines.
  • Continuously update and improve documentation based on user feedback and changes in the systems.
  • Assist in the development of documentation templates and standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of existing documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Provide support and training to end-users on how to effectively use the documentation.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Mulesoft, Workday, and Remedy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using documentation tools and software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies.

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems.

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.

  • For this role, we anticipate paying $90,000- $113,000 annually. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. TNS offers a competitive benefit package including medical and dental coverage, life insurance, paid holidays and vacations, and a 401K plan with company match.
