Job Summary
Support Company Operations initiatives associated with the applicable technical functions of Measurement and Regulation M&R activities. Provide oversight and support to company field personnel conducting various tasks related to Measurement and Regulation M&R type activities to ensure compliance.

- Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct QA (Quality Assurance)/QC (Quality Control) audits on company operations field personnel involved in Measurement and Regulation M&R type activities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Gas Standards, as well as other regulatory requirements as it pertains to tasks being conducted
- Effectively communicate and correct on-site any violations of procedures observed
- Provide coaching when deemed necessary to educate on proper procedures to follow for tasks conducted
- Ensure all safety requirements are followed for field tasks conducted and proper PPE donned
- Document and report any findings (violation of procedures) observed
- Provide recommendations to leadership in regard to additional training that may be needed based on field observations
- Assist local management in developing a process improvement plan when deemed necessary
- Communicate with training department any gaps observed based on field observations
- Ensure an un-biased evaluation of company personnel while conducting QA/QC’s
- Communicate with various Operating Areas to plan and organize QA/QC schedule
- Provide additional support as needed to local areas when deemed necessary
- Conduct QA/QC service type audits on employees across the NiSource footprint
- Conduct QA/QC audits on Measurement and Regulation M&R employees throughout the operating areas
- Assist as needed in combined team audits (team audits in various states)
- Travel to various states when needed for audits within other states, training and to attend meetings
- Required Qualifications For Position
- Knowledgeable in field operations and state specific Policies and Procedures for M&R
- Minimum two years’ experience in measurement and regulation type activities
- Effective written and oral communications skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Interpersonal skills, enjoy working in a team type environment
- Knowledgeable in operations computer support systems
- Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position
- Minimum two years' experience in Measurement and Regulation M&R type activities
- Knowledgeable in operations computer support systems
- Prior training experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline
- Prior leadership experience
- Prior auditing experience in field activities
- Physical Demands
- Working in the field in all weather conditions completing audits and other duties

Salary Range:
$93,800.00 - $140,700.00
