We are expanding our helpdesk team

You will become part of our Technical Support Team. As a technical support representative, you will assist our customers and partners with technical issues or questions. You will answer phone calls, respond to emails, and log all cases into our ticket system as part of your work. This job is perfect for you if you enjoy problem-solving, providing excellent customer service, and communicating with customers. You will receive training in systems and products to prepare you for this role, but having a technical interest is considered an advantage. If you are a tech-savvy person and interested in continuously learning about the latest technologies, computers, programs, and more, this is the perfect job for you. The payment industry is constantly evolving, and you will frequently have new things to learn as we introduce new payment terminal models, payment types, and more to our customers.

Daily tasks will include assisting customers with technical issues on their existing payment terminals and helping them install new payment terminals. A good understanding of various networks such as Mobile, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and LAN will be beneficial for these tasks. You will also handle requests for changes to terminal data and perform software updates. Additionally, customers will have inquiries regarding settlements and transactions.

You will work as part of a team, and strong collaboration skills are essential for this role. However, you will also be responsible for the cases you handle and must be able to work independently. Our office is located in Herlev, and the working hours are 37 hours per week. You will also be part of an on-call rotation, which may include evening and weekend shifts.

You will use Danish in your daily work, but some customers speak English, and Verifone’s official language is English, so strong English skills in both written and spoken form are also required.

Skills and Experience we desire

  • You speak and write Danish and English.
  • Experience and background in technical support is an advantage
  • Strong end-user of IT systems with a good ability to learn new systems
  • Experience in a support function is a plus, and you see yourself as a problem solver
  • It is an advantage if you have experience from industries with high customer and transaction volumes and/or from international organizations with access to multiple IT platforms. This could include Telecom, banking, IT, or the payment industry
  • You have strong communication skills and the enthusiasm and energy to provide the best support and customer service
  • You can stay calm under pressure and are willing to help wherever needed
  • You are social with a positive approach to your work and willingly take on responsibility
  • Basic knowledge of the MS Office suite
