SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
We are looking for a candidate who can support and assist sales personnel in offering and selling technically correct systems and use of products, by quality assuring that bids are in accordance with technical requirements and taking part in customer meetings, in order to minimise risk to Jotun and ensure that customers’ expectations are met and support and assist sales of the local Powder unit by offering technical advice/technical service.
This position is based in Sri Lanka and reports directly to the Sales Manager - Jotun MENA in Dubai – UAE.
Responsibilities

Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers for powder coating applications.

Address customer inquiries and troubleshoot application issues promptly and effectively.

Conduct training sessions for customers on powder coating products, equipment usage, and best practices.

Perform product testing and evaluate coating performance to meet customer specifications.

Collaborate with the R&D and quality teams to address product-related issues or improvements.

Analyze customer needs and provide customized solutions to optimize coating application and efficiency.

Recommend appropriate products and application methods for specific customer requirements.

Work closely with the sales team to support business development efforts and address technical concerns.

Prepare detailed technical reports and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in any related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the technical department

English is essential

Experience within powder coatings and/or industrial coatings is an added advantage.
