Job Description
To service and support existing customers and develop new ones to achieve:
- Drive budgeted turnover and sales contributions.
- Communicate national product ranging, pricing, and promotional initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Sika Australia's sales, pricing, and expense policies.
- Identify new business opportunities in defined industry markets (Transportation, Aftermarket, Manufacturing, etc.).
- Provide technical and sales services to existing customers.
- Maintain and expand the customer base through product specifications and demonstrations.
- Report market information and customer feedback to the Sales Manager.
- Prepare project proposals with the Sales Manager.
- Participate in internal and external training as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Sika’s Quality Policy (ISO 9002) and relevant laws.
- Provide after-sales service and technical advice based on current data sheets.
- Report verbal agreements and significant changes to relevant team members.
Qualifications
- University degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field (preferred), OR has 3+ years of experience in the Industrial Market sector.
- Exceptional communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable liaising with all levels of decision-makers.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate initiative and autonomy.
- Team player with a strong aptitude for marketing and sales.
