We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Recruiter to play a pivotal role in our talent acquisition strategy. The Technical Recruiter will focus on proactively identifying and engaging highly skilled technical professionals who align with our organization’s needs and culture. This role is designed for someone with a deep passion for technology and talent acquisition, who thrives on building relationships and uncovering hidden talent.

 

The Technical Recruiter will be aligned to and support Cognitiv’s Engineering and Science departments. You will work closely with hiring managers and cross-functional teams to ensure we attract and retain the best talent to drive our innovation and growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is committed to providing a best-in-class candidate experience.

 

This position will be for 6 months, with the potential to extend or convert to full time based on business needs. This position will be located in Bellevue WA with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office (Mon/Tue/Wed) and 2 days remote (Thursday/Friday).

Responsibilities

  • Utilize various sourcing strategies to identify and attract top technical talent, including Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, and employee referrals
  • Initiate contact with potential candidates through personalized outreach to generate interest in open positions
  • Conduct initial screenings to assess candidate fit
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring teams
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and team dynamics
  • Provide market insights and data to refine sourcing strategies and improve hiring outcomes
  • Work with hiring managers to craft and extend competitive job offers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and status in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sourcing technical talent, preferably in a fast paced, high growth environment
  • Strong understanding of technical roles and technologies (e.g. software engineering, data science, machine learning, AI, research)
  • Proficiency with sourcing tools and platforms, such as LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to use data to drive decisions and optimize sourcing efforts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience sourcing for niche or hard-to-fill technical positions
  • Familiarity with diversity sourcing strategies and inclusive hiring practices
  • Experience with Lever ATS

Salary

  • $55-$65/hr DOE

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to job-related knowledge, level of relevant experience, education and skills. Base salary is just one component of your total rewards package at Cognitiv. Employees are eligible for equity and various benefits.
