What will you do:

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Technical Content Writer with exceptional managerial abilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality technical content while also overseeing a team of content writers. This role requires strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates experience managing a team of content writers and coordinating content production processes.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Research, gather, and organize technical information from various sources, including subject matter experts, product specifications, and hands-on experimentation
• Create and maintain high-quality written documentation from relevant stakeholders (Technical support team and Product owners)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Technical support team and Product owners, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation
• Develop and maintain a consistent tone, style, and voice across all documentation, adhering to established writing standards and guidelines
• Edit and proofread documentation for clarity, accuracy, grammar, and adherence to AfterShip standards
• Manage document lifecycle, including version control, updates, and archiving of obsolete content
• Translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content that is easy to understand and follow
• Determine the best delivery method and create multimedia content, such as instructional videos, diagrams, and interactive tutorials, to supplement written documentation (e.g., videos, flow charts, infographics)
