We are seeking a diligent, experienced Technical Compliance Writer to join our team and assist us in improving our compliance documentation. The right candidate will work closely with internal teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of our products and the organizational security and privacy programs.

Essential Duties

  • Product and posture alignment: collaborate with internal teams and develop a deep understanding of Level Access products and the organizational security and privacy program and maintain this understanding as these areas evolve.
  • Questionnaires: fill out customer security questionnaires that come through from Sales, Renewals or other sources.
  • Customer service: provide timely response to new requests for information and steadfastly follow all requests through to timely completion, collaborating with others to source information where vital.
  • Record keeping: use existing company tools and processes and ensure we keep records and an audit trail of all responses.
  • Ad hoc support: provide other technical compliance writing to support internal and external teams as requested.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Technical Writing, or a related field, with validated experience in information technology writing.
  • Approach dedicated to the customer, with the ability to balance speed and accuracy to meet demand, while exercising good judgement to advance when vital.
  • Excellent written communication skills, paying attention to detail and demonstrating a strong command of English grammar and punctuation.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both technical and business collaborators to capture information and requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate optimally with peers.
  • Good management of time with the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and an eye for prioritization.
  • Approach to knowledge management with curiosity and passion for seeking answers in ambiguous environments and bringing order to chaos.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Desired, but not required

  • Understanding of cybersecurity and privacy concepts.
  • Understanding of web accessibility.
