Job Overview

The Head of Global Training and Enablement will lead and manage a high-performing enablement team responsible for five critical areas across the company, including the go-to-market teams: Onboarding, Skill Development, Product Enablement, Tech and Process Enablement, and Technical Accessibility Enablement. This leader will drive the overall enablement strategy while also directly contributing to content creation, training development, and program facilitation.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on enablement leader with a passion for learning and development, capable of both setting the vision and actively designing and delivering engaging training programs.

What You’ll DoTeam Leadership and Development

    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of enablement professionals, empowering them to excel in each of the five focus areas.
    • Establish team goals, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources effectively to support company-wide growth objectives.
    • Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture focused on innovation, accountability, and impactful enablement.

Training Development and Facilitation

    • Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs across various modalities, including instructor-led sessions, e-learning modules, workshops, and coaching programs.
    • Actively facilitate training sessions for employees across sales, customer success, delivery, and product teams, ensuring content is relevant, interactive, and impactful.
    • Partner with subject matter experts to build and refine training content, incorporating real-world scenarios, hands-on practice, and assessments to reinforce learning.
    • Stay up to date on best practices in training and enablement, continuously enhancing program effectiveness.

Strategic Planning and Execution

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive enablement strategy aligned with business goals to support revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
    • Partner with department heads to ensure the enablement strategy aligns with organizational priorities and optimizes team impact.
    • Oversee the creation, rollout, and continuous improvement of enablement programs, ensuring they are scalable and responsive to business needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Delivery, Operations, and Product to identify skill gaps and enablement needs.
    • Align enablement initiatives with key business objectives, ensuring programs drive measurable impact.
    • Implement feedback loops with stakeholders to refine training programs and learning paths continuously.

Program Oversight and Impact Measurement

    • Oversee onboarding, skill development, product training, tech and process enablement, and accessibility training, ensuring programs are integrated into a unified strategy.
    • Establish KPIs to track training effectiveness, participant engagement, and skill adoption.
    • Use data and feedback to iterate and improve enablement programs, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.

Change Management and Continuous Improvement

    • Lead enablement-related change management initiatives as the company grows, ensuring smooth transitions and high adoption rates.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning, ensuring training programs remain relevant, innovative, and aligned with best practices in SaaS enablement.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience in Sales, Training and Enablement.
  • 4+ years’ experience in a hunter sales role
  • 3+ years’ experience in managing teams and delivering against business goals
  • Strong experience supporting Enablement in revenue teams of over 130 sales reps.
  • Experience standing up new enablement programs & functions.
  • Experience building sales & post-sales enablement programs.
  • Strong knowledge & expertise in sales methodologies (Challenger, Insight Selling, Value Selling, Consultative Selling, MEDDPICC, SPIN, etc.).
  • Strong VILT, ILT, and facilitation skills.
  • Deep understanding of adult learning theory and principles with ability to apply multiple techniques virtually and in person to drive retention and engagement.
  • Proven experience building playbooks, enablement resources, supporting tools & resources.
  • Knowledge & experience with instructional design, designing curricula, e-Learning courses, learning paths, and blended learning experiences utilizing content creation software (i.e.: Articulate360 Product Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia).
