What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

  • Produce detailed, timely. well-formatted, and accurate financial presentations on behalf of CFO and other Finance management
  • Coordinate and report to the CFO on cross-functional projects and initiatives within the Finance department, including audit and other key time-based deliverables
  • Represent the Finance function within Scout’s Enterprise PMO process
  • Maintain the Finance Team’s data that feeds into the company’s KPI/OKR reporting dashboards.
  • Collaborate with other Scout departments on cross-functional projects and recurring responsibilities.
  • Conduct research as directed by the CFO on new financial processes, benchmarks, and functional topics
  • Analyze Scout financials and provide insights to management
  • Support the completion of ad hoc strategic projects
  • Work closely with team members to identify process improvements and enhance overall operational efficiency
  • Document process standards and workflows
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and business partners to \drive collaboration

The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. The role will be based out of a Scout Motors location in Tysons, Virginia. Applicants should expect that the role may require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in finance, accounting, consulting, or project management
  • Advanced Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong familiarity with consolidated financial statements
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP and Oracle
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Project management mindset to manage deliverables, communication, and performance
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Robust analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the company

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range = $120,000-$140,000

Internal leveling code: IC8
