YOUR ROLE

Working as a Technical Advisor you will be crucial to our post-implementation phase, guaranteeing smooth transitions, seamless integration, and ongoing support. Strong technical knowledge and leadership are essential for this position, as is the capacity to offer subject matter expertise (SME) for application management and support, leading the team through fixes, improvements, and optimizations for our clients’ systems.

You will be diligent about ensuring best practice, and pragmatic about ensuring that our customer ‘s success is maintained. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction. You will regularly exercise discretionary decision-making to shape this role as you see fit.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Post-Implementation Support:

  • Oversee and ensure that any issues are promptly addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Manage and fix technological problems that have escalated, offering in depth research and system solutions.
  • Oversee performance tuning, root cause investigation, and troubleshooting to increase the dependability of implemented solutions.

Subject Matter Expert (SME):

  • Act as the SME for the Post-Implementation Support, understanding the end-to-end solution and its integration points.
  • Serve as a key technical advisor to both clients and internal teams for complex application issues, upgrades, and system changes.

Integration & Transition:

  • Oversee the process of bringing new projects from the development stage to operational status, making sure that all integrations and systems are set up, deployed, and in line with business needs.
  • Oversee the integration of many external and internal systems, including third-party tools and APIs, to guarantee seamless data transfer and system synchronization.
  • In order to minimize downtime and the impact on business operations, offer knowledge and direction throughout transition stages.

Teamwork and Leadership:

  • Oversee and guide team members, guaranteeing excellent technical skills and adherence to best practices.
  • To handle and fix application problems, work closely with the development and other teams across the organization.
  • Assure efficient documentation and knowledge transfer for the group, encouraging continuous education and skill improvement.

Constant Improvement & Optimization:

  • Find areas where the system may be improved and optimized, offering suggestions to increase the functionality, scalability, and performance.
  • Examine and improve operating procedures to guarantee effective problem solving and service delivery.

Client Engagement:

  • Serve as a technical liaison for clients, guaranteeing that their requirements are satisfied and sustaining solid bonds by proactive correspondence and technical advice.
  • Oversee client post-implementation meetings to assess system performance, address problems, and talk about possible improvements or upgrades.
Requirements

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in application support, with at least 3-5 years in a technical lead role, ideally in the financial services or fintech industry.
  • Strong expertise in software integration, including APIs, third-party services, and data synchronization.
  • Solid understanding of financial applications, banking systems, and core financial processes.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application performance, security, and integration.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident management, and service management best practices.

SKILLS

  • Experience with cloud platforms and related financial software deployment.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, risk management, and compliance standards
  • Familiarity with project management tools (JIRA, ServiceNow) and collaboration platforms (Confluence, SharePoint).
  • Thought Leadership- Ability to guide, inspire innovation, motivates others, shares knowledge and drives an agreed goal based on their expertise and industry perspective.
  • Innovative Thinker- Ability to generate new and original ideas and solutions that break away from traditional or established thinking patterns, taking a non-conventional approach to problem-solving and finding ways to manage complex issues.
  • Good communication and presentation skills- Ability to clearly articulate topics and provide proper presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Industry Knowledge- Expertise knowledge in business processes, ideally in financial services
  • Team player-Ability to build strong relationship with follow team members.
