Pontera is seeking a seasoned Front-End Tech Lead to spearhead the development of exceptional user experiences in our flagship platform. This is a hands-on leadership role for a visionary engineer who thrives on building scalable, intuitive interfaces while also mentoring a team and guiding architectural decisions. Your expertise will directly influence how financial professionals interact with our product—and ultimately, how they improve outcomes for their clients.
You’ll collaborate with a team of innovative designers and product managers to build a product that truly makes a difference. RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and Innovate:

Design, build, and maintain scalable front-end components in modern Angular (18)

Own the technical delivery of major product initiatives with a focus on quality, performance, and maintainability.

Implement front-end best practices and define standards across projects.
- Collaborate Closely:
Partner with Product Managers (PMs) and UX designers to deliver a seamless, intuitive user experience. By bridging the gap between design and functionality, you’ll ensure features are both technically robust and user-friendly.
- Mentor and Share Expertise:
Guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. Your knowledge will help elevate the team’s capabilities and drive collective success. - Shape the Product’s Future:
Play an active role in setting the technical direction of the platform. From early design discussions to critical decision-making, your insights will help establish a solid architectural foundation for continued innovation.
REQUIREMENTS

8+ years of professional front-end development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical or team leadership capacity.

Deep expertise in Angular 16+

Strong experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and front-end performance optimization.

Proven ability to design and scale component architectures and establish reusable design systems.

Strong grasp of RESTful API integration, RxJS, state management patterns, and Angular HttpClient.

Experience with SQL databases and AWS environments (advantageous).

Familiarity with tools and frameworks such as NPM, Bootstrap, Webpack, and CI/CD pipelines.

A team-oriented mindset with exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
