A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As Team Manager Product Safety at ADC, you will partner with HSE, Supply Chain, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Purchasing, Sales, Manufacturing to drive the Product Safety Team to create up to date Safety Data Sheets, Labels and answer Compliance Queries. In this role, you will report to the Manager Product Safety worldwide.
You Will Make an Impact By:
• Develop and implement product safety protocols and standards, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international regulations
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential safety hazards associated with products and develop mitigation strategies
• Monitor and analyze safety data and reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement
• Lead investigations into product safety incidents, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions
• Train and educate employees on product safety standards, procedures, and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and manufacturing, to integrate safety considerations into product development processes
• Travel Requirements: Certain travel may be required.
Skills You Bring:
• Master's degree or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of related experience in Product Safety
• Sound knowledge on SDS and label creation, global and local regulations concerning hazard communication in the chemical industry
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
• Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
• Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
• Must be able to exchange accurate information
• Operates in a professional office environment
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
• Noise level in the work environment is usually average
