We are now looking for a Team Leader, Logistics Planning to join our team located in UPM Business HUB Wroclaw, Poland.

Being able to see, learn, develop and implement all the new initiatives around us is a unique opportunity to affect how UPM Communication Paper Supply Chain will look like in the future. The activities we are carrying out are ranging from load planning tasks to short-term solution finding in alignment of supply related environment and in harmonization with logistic conditions. What you will do
- Lead and develop the logistic team and assure its effective performance
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement ComPapers strategic objectives
- Liaise between team members and Managers in daily operations
- Agree logistics schedules with internal teams and customers and steer logistic capacity
- Pro-actively work on deviation and exception reporting
- Develop excellent working relationships and networks with Supply Teams, Order Management, Sales, Logistics Distribution and Logistics Sourcing
- Provide support in developing and implementing new business processes and work on projects supporting future supply activities
Who you are
- You have 5 years logistic experience in planning land (truck and rail) and sea transportation
- You have experience in leading teams
- You communicate and cooperate effectively with internal stakeholders
- You like to work in international teams
- You have a pro-active way of working and demonstrate a solution-oriented mindset
- You have a strong ability to work under pressure
- You have a good knowledge of MoveIT/Oracle and other logistic relevant systems
- You are fluent in English, other languages like German are an asset
