Your Team & Role
Zadara is looking for an experienced QA Team Leader with very high technical abilities to join our QA group and lead the testing of one of Zadara Edge Cloud products.
As a QA Team Leader you will lead and manage a team of 4 QA engineers. This includes developing new QA work practices, performing rigorous testing throughout the development process and working in scrum teams with the development teams.
Professionally you will also gain experience in advanced technologies such as Virtualization, Object Storage, Compute, Containers, Kubernetes, Micro-Services and many more.
Must be within commute distance to either our Tel Aviv or Yokne'am office.
Your day to day
- Prepare documents that outline testing processes and provide clear instructions for install, upgrade and onboarding of customers
- Develop, enact, and manage testing schedules, ensuring that the QA team meets expectations and deadlines
- Manage the day-to-day activities of QA team members, including scheduling and managing ongoing projects
- Play an active role in software testing, following the processes and procedures
- Own features of the product and perform all aspects of the QA process on those features.
- Adhere to agile techniques of development and testing. Utilize iterative Agile software development lifecycle
- Collaborate closely with the development and support teams
What you bring
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant technical position
- Experience in cloud technologies (Virtualization, Containers, Kubernetes)
- Experience in cloud networking & storage concepts
- Experience in developing Python-based QA automation
- Experience in testing software in a cross-platform environment (Windows, Linux, VMware)
- Experience in developing Python-based QA automation - advantage
- Experience with public cloud services like AWS, Azure and GCP - advantage
Your Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Nice to haves
- Working with one or more cloud providers: AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenStack, etc.
- Working with Storage appliances
