What you will do:
Management & Process Optimization:
- Oversee end-to-end AR processes, ensuring timely billing, cash collection, and reconciliation of customer payments.
- Manage payment processing in SAP and Coupa, including payment allocation, refunds, and invoicing.
- Drive collection processes and implement strategies to optimize DSO.
- Monitor and manage financial transactions from marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, etc.), identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Coordinate monthly and year-end AR closing activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Team Leadership & People Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the AR team, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
- Manage workload distribution, set KPIs, and provide regular feedback.
- Organize training and coaching sessions for SAP S/4HANA, MP, and collection strategies.
- Implement process improvements and automation, supporting digital transformation in AR operations.
Customer & Stakeholder Management:
- Resolve customer payment disputes, chargebacks, and reconciliation issues.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Treasury, GL team, IT) to optimize AR processes.
- Maintain direct communication with customers regarding payment terms, credit limits, and overdue receivables.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT regulations, audits, and internal financial policies.
What we are looking for:
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Team Lead for the Accounts Receivable (AR) Team, responsible for managing the team, optimizing collection processes, overseeing customer payments, and resolving outstanding receivables. The ideal candidate should have expertise in SAP S/4HANA, payment processing, intercompany processing, and team leadership.
Experience with marketplace (MP) financial processing (Amazon, eBay, Kaufland, etc.), handling refunds, chargebacks, lost shipments, and payments via PayPal, credit cards, and Cash on Delivery (COD) is a plus.
The primary responsibility is to lead the AR team, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, effective cash collection, and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) optimization.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of OFFICE 365 aps, SAP GUI or S/4HANA, including invoicing, payment processing, and AR reconciliation.
- Experience with automated AR management, collections, billing processes and intercompany cross-charge.
- Experience with marketplace financial processing, payments methods PayPal, COD, and credit cards is a plus.
- Ability to analyze DSO, aging reports, bad debs’ calculation.

- Strong team management, coaching, and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex financial situations.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with both customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
