In the Talent Acquisition Specialist role, at Banyan Software, reporting into the Manager, Talent Acquisition in the Developer Hub. In this role you are expected to evaluate and screen potential candidates to fill vacant positions for our expanding developer hub. The majority of these roles will be for Banyan’s portfolio companies, and requires a high level of sourcing, exceptional attention to detail and timely responses. The TA Specialist acts as a brand ambassador for Banyan and our Operating companies.The TA Specialist is expected to stay abreast of industry and market specific information or trends that could impact the search. They will act as a mentor to Hiring Managers as well as other team members to ensure consistency in our interviewing and hiring process. They demonstrate innovation and outside of the box thinking with their search techniques.
In this role you will be working in the Chennai Office working from 2:00 - 10:00 PM Monday - Friday to adjust for meetings with the onshore team. This role has hybrid opportunities as well but must be based in Chennai.
Job Profile:
- Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
- Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
- Take ownership of candidate experience ensuring a high level of communication, feedback and timely process advancement
- Develop job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
- Perform reference checks as need
- Facilitate the offer process by working extensively with HR, Hiring Manager and Director
- Manage onboarding and new hire process
- Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
- Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
- Track and report
- Ad hoc TA Project and Program development
Qualifications for success:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Recruiter
- Extensive ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, behavioral and technical assessments)
- Ability to organize skills assessment centers (in tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc)
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Strong preference given to candidates who have worked in Greenhouse
- Ability to create LinkedIn projects, leverage tools such as Naukri for a diverse talent pool
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong stakeholder management and advisory capabilities
- Ability to take and provide feedback effectively.
- Strong decision-making skills
