Overview:The Talent Acquisition Manager will develop and execute recruiting strategies and provide consultative guidance to hiring managers on the recruiting process and market conditions. The manager will also establish and nurture Boar’s Head recruitment networking through appropriate trade groups, associations, and industry contacts and coordinate with the HR team on other projects as needed.
Job Description:Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build recruiting strategies and drive execution to ensure goals are met.
- Execute full-cycle recruiting and develop a pipeline of candidates in niche areas as determined by market needs and business strategies.
- Advise leaders on best practices and innovative sourcing strategies for attracting and hiring world-class talent.
- Establish relationships with hiring managers to develop a deep understanding of their objectives, challenges, and team style; use this information to attract and screen candidates.
- Source active and passive candidates through employee referrals, networking, internal databases, contact lists, and research.
- Provide an efficient and high-touch experience for every candidate from the application stage to offer, evaluating skill level, driving the interview and offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations, and closing candidates.
- Identify future talent needs in partnership with the business leaders to develop forward-looking workforce plans that meet current and future business needs.
- Coordinate and/or participate in recruiting events such as job fairs.
- Coordinate new employee relocation with an external firm. Responsible for monitoring and updating the applicant tracking system, including creating job descriptions and requisitions and posting positions using internal and external sources, currently utilizing Workday.
- Assist or lead other HR project work based on business needs. Create weekly/monthly recruiting reports as needed.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Five to seven years of recruiting experience.
- Experience in benchmarking and networking/sourcing ideas.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with multiple and diverse customers.
- Broad-based knowledge of recruiting standard methodologies, employment law, immigration, and governmental regulations.
Language Skills
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of leadership and employees.
