You provide software and application expertise and analysis to support implementation of the strategy and the solution.
How you will contribute
You will provide expert consultation for a specific software or application, leading on issues and resolutions, optimizing service delivery to meet business demands and the service operations strategy. To excel in this role, you will recommend steps to optimize investments and benefits and to mitigate risks for a specific application. In addition, you will identify suppliers, evaluate them, on-board new vendors, and oversee them, work with project resources to provide design collateral and to configure software components that are aligned with security policy and governance, ensure adherence configuration standards and processes, and share your knowledge of the technology with relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Talend Environment Setup and Administration

  • Install, configure, and maintain Talend software.
  • Monitor and optimize Talend Remote Engine performance and usage.
  • Manage job scheduling, deployment, and monitoring in Talend Management Console (TMC).


System Maintenance and Support

  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Talend jobs, infrastructure, and dependencies.


Collaboration and Support

  • Work closely with data integration teams to ensure Talend jobs are deployed and executed as per requirements.
  • Provide technical support to integration developers and operators regarding Talend-related issues.
  • Collaborate with IT and database administrators to ensure seamless data flows across systems.


Security and Compliance

  • Implement and enforce security measures for Talend systems and data pipelines.
  • Maintain compliance with Mondelez organizational policies and industry regulations.


Monitoring and Optimization

  • Set up and maintain monitoring tools to ensure the performance and reliability of Talend workflows.
  • Analyze and optimize Talend jobs for efficiency and scalability.


Documentation and Training

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for Talend environments, processes, and best practices.
  • Train team members on Talend tools and administrative procedures.


Qualifications and Skills
Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


Preferred Certification(s)

  • Talend Certification (Administrator and/or Developer)


Technical Skills

  • Proven experience with Talend Management Console (TMC) and Talend Studio.
  • Familiarity with Talend Data Integration, Big Data, and related modules.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.).
  • Knowledge of job scheduling tools and concepts (e.g., Autosys, Cron, etc.).
  • Experience with Linux/Unix systems and scripting (Shell, Python).


Additional Skills

  • Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data integration concepts.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Jira).


Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
