Tactical Buyer Supervisor
This position is hybrid model in our Pinhais-Paraná unit.
Position Summary
Responsible for providing support to buyers at the Brazil level. Familiar with the company's organization and procurement process. Monitors and supervises purchases.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Support with negotiation and purchase of raw materials, consumables, indirect materials, and services, always respecting the limits of the Delegation of Authority (DOA) and in alignment with category managers and regional purchasing buyers.
- Development of purchasing strategies for local product categories; prepare and coordinate RFQs/RFPs within the DOA limits.
- Negotiate contracts with oversight from management and the legal team. Receive acquisition requests and verify compliance; issue purchase orders according to negotiated terms.
- Analysis of commercial proposals and negotiation.
- Issuance of periodic reports (weekly, purchasing dashboard).
- Use of corporate purchasing processes in local operations.
- Ensure the use of purchasing tools and processes in accordance with corporate policy in day-to-day activities.
- Commitment to standards, quality policies, and safety of company manuals and procedures.
- Calculation and reporting of negotiation savings results according to corporate procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree complete.
- Experience with procurement.
- Advanced English.
- Knowledge of cost formation.
- Analytical data skills.
- Supplier development.
- Knowledge of quality tools.
- Basic logistics knowledge.
- Windows, Internet, Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
