RevolutionParts is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Systems Administrator to join our IT team. This role focuses on documenting and maintaining IT processes related to onboarding, off-boarding, and providing day-to-day technical support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for organization, problem-solving, and continuous learning within the IT field.


Responsibilities:

  • Process Documentation:
  • Create, maintain, and update comprehensive documentation for IT processes, including employee onboarding, off-boarding, and general IT support.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure documentation is accurate, clear, and easily accessible.
  • Develop visual aids, such as flowcharts and checklists, to streamline IT procedures.

  • Onboarding & Off-boarding:
  • Assist in the technical setup and configuration of hardware, software, and accounts for new employees.
  • Document the steps for provisioning and de-provisioning user accounts in systems like Google, OneTrust, and other applications.
  • Ensure proper retrieval and secure storage of IT assets during offboarding.

  • Day-to-Day Support:
  • Provide first-level support to resolve all IT issues, escalating complex problems to vendors as necessary.
  • Document support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system to build a knowledge base for common issues.
  • Assist with monitoring and maintaining hardware and software inventory.

  • System Maintenance:
  • Perform routine updates and patches for systems and software as directed.
  • Assist in monitoring system performance and troubleshooting basic network or system issues.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems,Google Business Suite, and common office applications.
  • Certification(s) such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation.
  • Google Business Admin certification preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience: One year of IT office support, internships, and coursework in IT-related subjects is a plus.
