Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated System & Signaling EMI/EMC Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Genoa, IT.

Accountabilities
You work in an EMI/EMC team to prenevent a and/reslove any issues related to electromagnetic compatibility, in the context of product development, subsystems and the integration of railway systems. You have a real engineering approach and are able to understand throughout the V-cycle the constraints related to EMI/EMC. Several missions will be entrusted to you: design, specifications, report, in situ and laboratory tests, project monitoring, project meetings etc.
Ensure the management (i.e. identification, allocation, traceability) and the fulfilment of EMI/EMC (System and Signaling) Requirements for the entire life cycle of the project (Design and Testing)
Guarantee the identification, the management and the resolution of the EMI/EMC interfaces among the subsystems (e.g., between signalling system and rolling stock)
Ensure the execution of technical analysis and simulations on EMI/EMC (e.g., voltage induction, human exposure).
Execute the Verification activities of EMI/EMC documents, according to the V&V Plan
Plan and execute on site System EMI/EMC tests
Contribute to solve EMI/EMC issues by supervising technical analysis and measurements (including on site surveys)
Participate to EMI/EMC laboratory test for equipment (e.g. CE mark certification) in order to ensure compliance with EMI/EMC design requirements
Participate to EMI/EMC on site tests of subsystems in order to ensure compliance with EMI/EMC design requirements
Preparation of EMC technical files
Required Skills/ Knowledge
EMC Railway and Metro System Engineering expertise
Expertise Requirements Management & Development, Interface Management for what concerns EMI/EMC
Experience or study background in electrical system engineering and electronic engineering
Desired Skills/ Knowledge
Project leading (Work project leader)
Railway signaling (Master System STS: CBTC, ERTMS, TVM, SEI, .....)
Education/Qualifications
Electrical, Electronic or Telecomunication Engineering Qualifications/ University Degree Technical Background
Languages
· English-Proficient
· Italian
