We are excited to announce an opportunity for a System Configuration Lead to join our expanding Implementation Team at Holman UK. In this role, The Systems Configuration Lead will oversee the configuration and setup processes for all Holman UK operational departments.  As they will be taking a more wide-angle view of business processes, and using predetermined fields within the system, coding skills will not be needed.  They will ensure timely and quality-controlled changes, by managing client configurations, system rule adjustments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain optimal operational performance.

This role will be based out of our HQ in Chippenham, with the opportunity for hybrid working, details of which will be discussed at interview. This is a temporary (12 – 18 months) opportunity, and we are looking to pay £32,000.00.  

Key Responsibilities will include:

Client and Stakeholder Management:

  • Implement requested changes, after validating that they comply with the client’s contract.  Changes may include updates to billing details, points of contact or annual price adjustments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, e.g. finance or customer support, to support specific requests. 
  • Assess incoming requests for change, escalating any issues where necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Keep colleagues informed of change requests that might impact their work or require their attention.
  • Engage with stakeholders to define bespoke processes ensuring clear agreement, sign-off and understanding from relevant SME’s.
  • Conduct a review of onboarding customers and their selected services, confirming they are correctly recorded in the system.
  • Support offboarding customers, ensuring all relevant information is archived or removed from the system and facilitate a seamless handover to the new provider.

Task Management:

  • Handle day-to-day operations, ensuring SLAs are consistently met.
  • Establish that all change requests are necessary and include all required information for successful execution.
  • Follow a structured, auditable process when carrying out changes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive guides and documentation on clients, processes and changes, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to relevant teams across the business.
  • Address any delays or challenges proactively, implementing corrective action as needed to keep projects on track.

  • A team player who works collaboratively to progress team goals and priorities.   
  • Excellent communication skills for clear idea presentation across various formats, coupled with meticulous attention to detail in delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and reprioritise tasks, delegate responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to methodically handle multiple workloads with tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a high-level of proactivity and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and expectations, through clear communication.
  • Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level, with the ability to rapidly learn new software.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new tasks and processes, using sound judgment to solve routine problems based on established guidelines.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn from experience, make adjustments, and improve performance over time.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of fleet management would be advantageous but full training will be provided.
  • Proficiency with Adobe WorkFront and Monday.com.
