If you are tech-savvy, customer outcome focused, detail-oriented, and skilled in handling large datasets while working under pressure, this role is an exciting opportunity.

What you’ll be doing:

  • GRC Product Owner: You will oversee the daily operations of a module within Wise’s GRC tool. Ensuring it is fit for purpose, optimised and streamlined to suit stakeholder needs

  • GRC Tool Improvement: Ingest stakeholder feedback to improve and streamline technical processes. Including ideation, feasibility analysis, AB Testing and roll-out of iterative improvements

  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training sessions for team members and stakeholders on the GRC tool and best practices in managing it

 What you’ll bring:

  • Tech Savvy: Demonstrated proficiency with technology, particularly in managing GRC tools and advanced data analysis
  • Customer Outcome Focused: identifying problems stakeholders face and come up with solutions to solve these problems

  • Problem-Solving: Critical thinking skills to independently solve complex problems using data

  • Positive Attitude: A positive attitude with a thirst to learn new things and get work done! Ability to pick up tasks independently and run with them with some guidance

  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and tasks

  • Basic Risk Knowledge: Understanding of fundamental and basic risk management concepts and practices

  • Analytical Skills: Experience in reading and manipulating large datasets; Excel proficiency is required, and familiarity with advanced data visualisation tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI) is preferred

  • Workload Management: Proven ability to manage workload efficiently, especially with varying and conflicting deadlines

It would be ideal but not essential if you had:

  • Experience: Previous experience working with a GRC tool and/or databases

  • Skills: Previous experience with visualisation tools and basic ability with SQL

This role is perfect for someone who is tech-savvy, highly competent, and ready to contribute to Wise’s mission by ensuring robust and efficient risk management processes through adept handling of our GRC tool. If you believe you have the skills and experience required, we would love to hear from you.

What We Do

We’re making a positive, irreversible change in the world of finance. Together.

People on every continent around the world are choosing Wise to help them live, travel and work internationally. We’re the fairest, easiest way to send money overseas.

Built by and for people who live global lives, we make sending money abroad up to 8 times cheaper than the bank. This is money without borders - instant, convenient, transparent and eventually free.

For our customers, using Wise is as simple as sending money from A to B, but behind our app and website is a complex engine of currencies and routes, that’s being designed, built and powered by our talented teams in cities around the world.

We’re just at the beginning of our story and we’re growing at an incredible pace. We won’t stop until anyone, anywhere can send, spend and receive money wherever they are, whatever they’re doing. There’s still heaps to do and we can’t do it alone.

Why Work With Us

We are a mission-driven company, looking to change banking for the better. Current banking systems don’t let us send, spend or receive money across borders easily. Or quickly. Or cheaply. So, we’re building a new one. If you're looking for an autonomous work environment, where you'll face cool challenges, learn and grow, you'll like working at Wise
